Overview
I conceptualized and designed a custom theme shop starting with the logo and branding through to the marketing site. I then moved onto the design of the WordPress themes themselves. This included designing the custom LayeredCraft page builder that sits on top of the WordPress core framework.
As a new brand, I had the chance to create an entire company’s image from scratch and spent a great deal of time doing research into different markets to determine trends and needs. Having spent the past 7 years as a theme developer I was primed with first hand knowledge of best practices and pit-falls. This resulted a beautiful set of themes, templates and landing that range from wedding site to musician site and multi-purpose corporate sites.
Branding
A great deal of attention was paid to the details handmade icons that give LayeredCraft it’s signature look. I wanted to create a set of icons that were almost like mini-instruction booklets and visualized in a very fluid way what the product features are, what they do and how they work.
